The Floating World is back in action, spitting out some RenderMan renders of some shots, and trying to get the CG shots really polished up. Should be posting more animation and artwork very very soon.

I have some more tools to post up as well, an update to the MayaRender droplets and some other interesting workflow tools.

here is the original short:

I am really liking the character’s I hope this turns out to be a good one. Check out Shake Acker’s site. While the animation in the short seems a little limited, there seems to be a big improvement in the feature trailer. The timing in the original short is a little odd too, some moments just seem to take way longer than they should and there isn’t much subtlety. Excited to see this one though.

fun times. would have loved to really complete this but like always life intervened. did we actually do this, I can’t seem to remember much of it? something about rain and a coin and wires hanging from buildings and a gun flying through the air? I think we did.

I may try to post up my main contributions to this little whatsit some time, I did a variety of things as we all did.
